Have 3" or so to go in the bottom and have now glued for the first time.

2/4/2012

Notice my regular tool rest could not reach so I am using an old water pipe, very inexpensive.  I have glued , first I gave it some oil, the reason is that there will not be as bad a shiny spot where the glue hit and the glue will still work.  I filled the cracks with very fine dust from the sanding and then used the thin super glue over that.  Then when I go back and clean it up I will do the same again.  Both on the inside and outside.
